CODI MILLER-MACINTHAIRE: FROM THE ZENITs IN THE 3x3 GAME COULD DECLARE YOURSELF TRUSHKIN
American legionary "Zenith" is waiting for an invitation to the Russian team for the Olympic selection.

One of the organizers of the United League 3x3 is the basketball club Zenit. It is not surprising that defender Cody Miller-McIntyre came to the third round of the Peter Raduga shopping and entertainment complex, who answered questions from the league press service.

Do you consider 3x3 basketball as an option to continue your career?

I'm afraid that by the time I finish playing 5x5, the body will not be ready to withstand such loads.

Did you play streetball at home?

Charlotte, the largest city in North Carolina, is considered the birthplace of this type of basketball. I grew up in this state. Of course, I saw some cuts on the Internet, but I did not try my hand at playing 3x3.

Is it true that in the Zenit trainings the confrontation of triples is not practiced?

We play both 3x3 and 2x2. Only this is not at all what I saw at the tournament of the United League of Europe. Here is a completely different refereeing. The arbitrators give the fight, just like in hockey.

Who of your current teammates could prove himself in such a contact game?

I think that Vlad Trushkin is capable of that. He has such a muscle mass that his opponents would not be good.

Did you like the atmosphere at league matches?

This can not be not like! It's great that 3x3 basketball can be played everywhere, even on the street, even in a shopping center.

Now basketball 3x3 entered the Olympic program. Does it inspire you to try your hand at this type of game?

Never say never! Maybe I'll try.

Option with the Russian team do not consider?

If they offer it to me, I'll think about it.
